This is called "French Dresdin Garden" as it is Dresdin blue and looks like a flower garden to me.  I had made the 16 patch blocks last winter and when I went to quilt retreat i put it together.  So it was finished on April 18th, 2013.  It's 71 x 82 and it's my own design. 

Over the River and Through the Woods--well our grandkids would start singing that song as soon as they passed over the big hill with a view of our farm and they would sing it all the way into the driveway.  When I found this pattern I just had to make it, the house in the quilt looks like our farm house--- problem is I have 4 grandkids so I have 3 more to make.  I started it about 3 years ago and it was something that I procrastinated on for so long.  When I

 went to Quilt Camp in March I finally put it together and started the quilting---so as of April 7, 2013 it's finished.

I love thrift shops and treasurer hunting.  I found this wooden cassette holder for $3 it's perfect for holding my fat quarters.  Fat quarters are for looking at!!!!! not cutting up!!!! How do you like my 1962 Singer sewing machine my parents gave it to me for my high school graduation, sews like a dream to this day and has a million miles of thread run through it.  pb

Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep scrappy quilt the quilt is scrappy of course, the label is a folded hanky that my Irish friend gave to me that she bought when on vacation in Germany.

I did 4 of these dish towel, one is sent off in the mail already but these are a fun project, I learned to do sewing machine caligraphy a couple months ago and thought these dish towels would be a lot of fun as  Christmas gifts.  I use vintage linens and counted cross stitch that if find treasure hunting at thrift shops and garage sales.  I just can't pass up a project that someone spent hours on and someone else just discarded, I just have to give them a new home.  Fabreann is my daughter, Jeannie is my daughter-in-law and Julie is my dear quilting friend.  Merry
